The quilts of two Atlanta quilters will be part of the World Quilt Show when it opens Thursday, November 10 in West Palm Beach, Florida. They are Nina Moore and Marva Swanson. The annual International Quilt Festival opens today in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center. There will be quilt vendors as far as the eye can see, classes offering the latest quiltmaking techniques, and amazing quilts. Check out their website for more information.

When all the votes were counted, Mary Maynard’s Rotation of Cross walked away with Best of Show at the 2011 Atlanta Quilt Festival exhibit which was held at the South Fulton Arts Center.
