
Brown Sugar Stitchers Raffle Quilt, by Vickie Clark, 2009.
The Brown Sugar Stitchers bi-annual Quilt Show is August 1 -7, 2009 and the quilt shown above will be raffled off as part of the festivities. The raffle will be held at the end of the opening reception at 6 p.m. August 1, 2009. Tickets for the raffle are just $1.00 each and can be purchased from any member of the Brown Sugar Stitchers Quilt Guild or at the show.
In addition to the raffle, the quilt show will feature an exhibit of over 140 quilts, over 35 dolls, a silent auction and demonstrations. An added attraction is a lecture, trunk show and book signing by Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi.
Admission to the show is free. Admission to the Mazloomi lecture is $10.00. Tickets are available through Hammonds House Museum. Email quilts@hammondshouse.org to purchase your ticket or call 404-612-0500.
