Deborah's Sampler
An exhibit entitled Sew Many Quilts is currently on display at the Cleveland Avenue Branch Library in Atlanta. All of the quilts in the exhibit were created by local quilter Deborah Andrews.
The quilts are primarily traditional quilts, but they cover a wide range of techniques. For example, there is a sampler, a bargello, a pieced pictorial quilt and even two garments. Curated by Gloria Dennis, the librarian at the facility, the exhibit will continue through the end of October.
Andrews teaches a quilting group at the library called Stitchers Of Soul. They meet on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month at 10 a.m. at the library. The library is located at 47 Cleveland Avenue, Atlanta, GA. Call 404 762-4116 for more information.
