The Brown Sugar Stitchers Quilt Guild will celebrate its 10th Anniversary July 17, 2010 at the Pecan Restaurant in College Park, Ga. at 11:00 a.m.
As part of that celebration, the guild will honor the following honorees: Monica Pearson, news anchor, journalist; Pearl Cleage, author, playwright; John Lewis, Congressman; Reverend Cynthia L. Hale, pastor of Ray of Hope ; and Dr. Evelyn Lavizzo, Executive Director of Carrie Steele Pitts Home.
Tickets are $50.00 per person and are still available. Details of how to purchase tickets can be found on the Guild’s website.
The Guild will also raffle the lovely dolls shown here made by Martha Dudley and Mattie Eley. Tickets are $5.00 each for a chance to win both dolls.
