African American quilters are well represented at the bi-annual East Cobb Quilt Show. Jeanette Walton‘s quilt Not Fast Food earned a Blue Ribbon in its category.
There is much to see at the East Cobb Quilt Show, including approximately 400 quilts, vendors and a silent auction. It opened Friday and continues through Sunday at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, GA. Admission is $8.00.
Jeanette says she spent more hours than she cares to remember on this quilt. It was well worth the effort. Congratulations!

I saw it today. It certainly deserves the recognition it got!
