It’s harvest time, and the ladies in Nina Moore’s quilt are headed to the market to get the freshest produce. But who knows who you might see at market, so these ladies are dressed in their best colorful finery of batik fabrics.
Nina pieced and appliqued Market Day by hand. She used her machine for the embroidery and the beautiful quilting. The quilt measures 19 x 23 inches.
This quilt was recently part of the 2011 Atlanta Quilt Festival held at the South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA. The 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival opens July 29th.
