Janice Daniel has traveled extensively in Africa, and her quilts are often inspired by her travels. Senegal, which measures 35 x 42 inches, begins with a printed panel that Janice purchased in West Africa. It is bordered by African Fabrics she purchased in the United States. Janice pieced and quilted Senegal on her machine.
Senegal was recently part of the 2011 Atlanta Quilt Festival held at the South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA. The 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival opens July 29th.
