Splash From My Stash by Aleathia Chisolm was chosen by the judges as Best Traditional Quilt at the 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival. This quilt is based on the bargello pattern which Aleathia made entirely from her stash.
The quilts in the 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival exhibit are absolutely amazing! They are definitely a must see. The exhibit will remain up through August 11th at the South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA. The Center is open daily from 10 – 5 p.m., but will be open until 7 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012. It is closed Sunday.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. While there, make sure you cast your vote for the one quilt that you think is BEST OF SHOW.
