Students in the 2014 Atlanta Quilt Festival “sold out” Beginning Dollmaking class worked very hard on their dolls. Cookie Patterson taught the class which was held at Hammonds House Museum.

Below are some of the dolls that were part of the 2014 Atlanta Quilt Festival doll exhibit. The Atlanta Quilt Festival is held each year during the first two weeks in August.

The Atlanta Quilt Festival will again feature an exhibition of hand made dolls during the Opening Reception. These ladies are always a hit at the Festival. This year, the exhibit is curated by Gretchen Scott.

Celebrate with us at the Opening Reception of the 2013 Atlanta Quilt Festival from noon – 4 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA. The exhibit closes August 10, 2013.

Cookie Patterson will teach a Beginning Dollmaking class Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Hammonds House Museum. The class starts at 10 a.m., and the cost is$15.00. Email Cookie Patterson at cincygirl2028@bellsouth.net for more information.
