Happy

Happy by Valerie Cookie Patterson

This week we take a break from Christmas quilts to feature a handmade doll. After all, Christmas is all about children and the young at heart. This very special doll was created by Valerie Cookie Patterson, and she is simply called Happy.

Happy has just returned from a national tour as part of the Hoffman challenge. She is definitely happy about that, and we at the Clara Ford Foundation are hoping your holidays are happy so far.

To see more of Cookie’s work, visit the 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival which opens July 29, 2012 at the South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA.
